The composer Nicolas-Médard Audinot, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Bourmont-en-Bassigny in 1732, the same year of the composers Bach, Beaumarchais, Emmert, Glösch, Haydn, Herbain, Majo, Trial. He died in Parigi on the 21 May 1801
