The composer Natanael (Carl) Berg, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Stoccolma on the 9th February 1879, the same year of the composers Andreae, Bornschein, Bridge, Canteloube (de Malaret), Corder, Cras, Doire, Donaudy, Gaubert, Gilbert, Granichstaedten, Grovlez, Haas, Hatze, Kalnins, Laccetti, Lyudkevych, Ostrcil, Respighi, Scott, Shaw, Tigranian, Trunk, Uspensky. Died in Stoccolma on the 14th October 1957
