Charles-Auguste de Bériot

(1802-1870)

Charles-Auguste de Bériot, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Louvin on the 20th February 1802, the same year of the composers Barnett, Hanssens, Klein, Lee, Niedermeyer, Pugni, Randhartinger, Reuling. He died in Bruxelles on the 8th April 1870
