The composer (Albert) Franz (Ferenc) Doppler, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Lvov on the 16th October 1821, the same year of the composers Afanas'yev, Bottesini, Bovy-Lysberg, Byström, Conradi, Dominiceti, Maretzek, Muzio, Paniagua y Vasques. He died in Baden (Vienna) on the 27th July 1883
