The composer Paul Gilson was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Bruxelles on the 15th June 1865, the same year of the composers Boeck, De Boeck, Drake, Dukas, Dupin, Jaques-Dalcroze, Loomis, Luders, Ludwig, Luporini, Magnard, Miles, Morera, Nielsen, Olenin, Orefice, Reinhardt, Sibelius, Spinelli, Szopski, Tofft.
