Alberto (Evaristo) Ginastera was born in Buenos Aires on the 11th April 1916, the same year of the composers ApIvor, Babbit, Berlioz, Blomdahl, Bucchi, Cox, Dutilleux, Eder, Griesbach, Herrera de la Fuente, Huston, Ishiketa, Jiménez-Mabarak, Johnsen, Juzeliunas, Kelly, Kohs, Nikiprowetzky, Ogura, Paciorkiewicz, Parrott, Peiko, Ratner, Shawwan, Turchi. Died in Genève on the 25th June 1983
