Hans Krása, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Praga on the 30th November 1899, the same year of the composers Angelo, Auric, Bárdos, Chávez (y Ramírez), Cortese, Coward, Davidenko, Duke, Gedda, Haas, Korchmaryov, Lamote de Grignon y Ribas, Manziarly, Müller von Kulm, Poulenc, Rohloff, Tcherepnin. He died in Oswiecim on the 16th October 1944
