The musician Jean Martinon, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Lione on the 10th Jenuary 1910, the same year of the composers Barber, Barraine, Bernal Jiménez, Bowles, Chailley, Demian, Engel, Glaser, Heiden, Hirai, Koch, Liebermann, Mendelsohn, North, Peragallo, Porrino, Rajicic, Raphling, Reed, Reif, Reiner, Robinson, Schaeffer. Pierre, Schröder, Schuman, Stein, Still, Sutermeister, Tal, Tardos. He died in Parigi on the first March 1976
