The composer Joseph-Henri-Ignace Mees, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Bruxelles on the 28th May 1777, the same year of the composers Davïdov, Hanssens, Hawkins, Kreube, Russell, Trajetta. He died in Parigi on the 18th December 1858
