The composer Simon van Milligan was born in Rotterdam on the 14th December 1849, the same year of the composers Bach, Godard, Heuzenroeder, Ivanov, Jeske-Choinska-Mikorska, Kulenkampff, Köhler, Novotný, Urich. He died in Amsterdam on the 11th March 1929
