The composer Louis-Luc Loiseau de Persuis, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Metz on the 4th July 1769, the same year of the composers Asioli, Bonfichi, Della Maria, Elsner, Farinelli, Gnecco, Jadin, Kashin, Lickl, Titov. He died in Parigi on the 20th December 1819
