The composer Johann Christoph Pez (Petz), who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Monaco on the 9th September 1664, the same year of the composers Cesarini, Lully, Schmidt, Stupan von Ehrenstein. He died in Stoccarda on the 25th September 1716
