The musician Ignazio Prota, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Napoli on the 15th September 1690, the same year of the composers Baccelli, Baldassare, Barsanti, Bergiron, Brescianello, Chelleri, Ciampi, Collin (Colin) de Blamont, Giai, Porta, Stölzel, Tessarini.
