The composer Manuel (Emmanuel, Maurice) Rosenthal, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Parigi on the 18th June 1904, the same year of the composers Antill, Brehme, Buenaventura, Burian, Chisholm, Dallapiccola, Dvarionas, Hertog, Kabalevsky, Kalnins, Kassern, Khodzha-Einatov, Krejcí, La Rosa Parodi, Leoz, Meester, Mohaupt, Mshvelidze, Petrassi, Pipkov, Rey, Schaefer. Theodor, Schroeder, Takagi, Tarnov. Died in Parigi on the 5th June 2003
