The musician Francesco Ruggi, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Napoli on the 21 October 1767, the same year of the composers Basili, Berton, Brunetti, Candeille, Gleisman, Hiller, Lichtenstein, Müller, Müller, Romberg, Romberg, Spech.
