The composer Károly Thern was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Jihlava on the 13rd August 1817, the same year of the composers Agnelli, Deldevez, Duggan, Gade, German Reed, Gregoir, Katski, Kreutzer, Kuntze, Lefébure-Wély, Mabellini, Maillart, Pedrotti, Robson, Soriano Fuertes y Piqueras, Tiehsen. Died in Vienna on the 13rd April 1886
