George William Torrance

(1835-1907)

The composer George William Torrance was born in Rathmines in 1835, the same year of the composers Caballero, Cohen, Cui, Danhauser, Draeseke, Fernández Caballero, García Robles, Grossman, Jenko, Krygell, Pfeiffer, Radoux, Saint-Saëns, Scholz. He died in Kilkenny on the 20th August 1907
