Marcial del Adalid y Gurréa, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in La Coruña on the 24th August 1826, the same year of the composers Berens, Bott, Cortesi, Hallström, Hauser, Hiles, Holstein, Kashperov, Lajarte, Quarenghi, Stadtfeld, Studzinski. He died in Lóngora (La Coruña) on the 16th October 1881
