Jean Joseph Bott was born in Kassel on the 9th March 1826, the same year of the composers Adalid y Gurréa, Berens, Cortesi, Hallström, Hauser, Hiles, Holstein, Kashperov, Lajarte, Quarenghi, Stadtfeld, Studzinski.
