The composer Yuri (Karlovich) (Jurig von) Arnold was born in San Pietroburgo on the 13rd November 1811, the same year of the composers Becker, Blahetka, Catelani, Godefroid, Hiller, Liszt, Orlowski, Schindelmeisser, Skroup, Speranza, Taubert, Thomas, Truhn.
