Robert-Nicolas-Charles Bochsa was born in Montmédi on the 9th August 1789, the same year of the composers Carnicer y Batile, Chelard, Damse, Fesca, Maurer, Passy, Ruzitska, Rózsavölgyi. He died in Sydney on the 6th Jenuary 1856
