Ramón Carnicer y Batile, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Tárrega on the 24th October 1789, the same year of the composers Bochsa, Chelard, Damse, Fesca, Maurer, Passy, Ruzitska, Rózsavölgyi. He died in Nadrid on the 17th March 1855
