The musician François van Campenhout was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Bruxelles on the 5th February 1779, the same year of the composers Aiblinger, Aimon, Benincori, Darondeau, Garaudé, Haeser, Häser, Lanza, Moore, Pavesi, Piccinni, Roser, Röth, Schiedermayer, Schmidt, Schuster. He died in Bruxelles on the 24th April 1848
