August Ferdinand Haeser, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Leipzig on the 15th October 1779, the same year of the composers Aiblinger, Aimon, Benincori, Campenhout, Darondeau, Garaudé, Häser, Lanza, Moore, Pavesi, Piccinni, Roser, Röth, Schiedermayer, Schmidt, Schuster. He died in Weimar on the first November 1844
