The musician Giulio Confalonieri, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Milano on the 23th May 1896, the same year of the composers Adam (Ádám), Brand, Gerhard, Hanson, Herrmann, Labroca, Lang, Lecuona, Mitropoulos, Rasheed, Rivier, Schröder, Szeligowski, Thomson.
