The musician Constantin Dimitrescu, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Blejoi-Prahova on the 19th March 1847, the same year of the composers Cervantes (Kawanag), Eichborn, Grandjean, Haarklou, Holmès, Klughardt, Láska, Mackenzie, Salvayre, Scharwenka, Servais.
