Carlos Estrada(1909-1970)The composer Carlos Estrada, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Montevideo on the 15th September 1909, the same year of the composers Bacewicz, Bijvanck, Bjelinski, Constantinescu, Cornejo, Doubrava, Dressel, Dzerzhinsky, Easdale, Gavazzeni, Hajdu, Holmboe, Horký, Hughes, Kagen, Kubin, Lavagnino, Murrill, Mushel', Nordoff, Orr, Pesonen, Prokopiev, Röttger, Schoop, Schwaen, Siegmeister, Skulte, Thomas, Tuukkanen, Uhl.
