The musician Joseph (Jean) Gehot was born in Bruxelles on the 8th April 1756, the same year of the composers Ahlstrom (Åhlström), Boutmy, Horzizky, Kraus, Kunz, Lacépède, Linley, Mozart, Parigi, Reinagle, Righini, Schmiedt, Teyber.
