Lou Harrison(1917-2003)Lou Harrison, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Portland on the 14th May 1917, the same year of the composers Aeschbacher, Andrasovan, Arnell, Baumann, Cole, Dolin, Gardner, Hajiyev, Jakova, Kaslik, Kay, Latham, Mihály, Penberthy, Poser, Smith Brindle.
