The composer Prenkë Jakova, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Shkodër on the 27th June 1917, the same year of the composers Aeschbacher, Andrasovan, Arnell, Baumann, Cole, Dolin, Gardner, Hajiyev, Harrison, Kaslik, Kay, Latham, Mihály, Penberthy, Poser, Smith Brindle.
