Marij Kogoj

(1895-1956)

The composer Marij Kogoj was born in Trieste on the 27th May 1895, the same year of the composers Baeyens, Binder, Brustad, Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Castro, Dandelot, Dostal, Estrada, Gotovac, Gray, Guerrero (y Torre), Hindemith, Höffer, Kattnigg, Lyatoshyns'ky, Martelli, Nechayev, Orff, Osterc, Rathaus, Rocca, Schiuma, Still, Thórdarson, Tijardovic, Toldrá, Trambitsky. He died in Ljubljana on the 25th February 1956
