The musician Arseni (Nikolaievich) Koreshchenko, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Mosca on the 18th December 1870, the same year of the composers Breil, Büttner, Casadesus, Coerne, Dopper, Estella, Garcia Mansilla, Hermann, Hill, Hosmer, Lehár, Lekeu, Leps, Lleó, Malherbe, Mlynarski, Moreau, Novák, Opienski, Pittrich, Pons, Pryor, Ryelandt, Schenck, Schuster, Straus, Tournemire, Truman. Died in Kharkov on the 6th Jenuary 1921
