The composer Honoré (François Marie) Langlé, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Monaco in 1741, the same year of the composers André, Barthélémon, Canobbio, Clagget, Grétry, Lucchesi, Martini, Naumann, Pichl, Rigel, Ruloffs, Rust, Ulbrich. He died in Villiers-le-Bel (Parigi) on the 20th September 1807
