The musician Václav (Venceslaus, Wenzel) Pichl (Pichel) was born in Bechyne on the 23th September 1741, the same year of the composers André, Barthélémon, Canobbio, Clagget, Grétry, Langlé, Lucchesi, Martini, Naumann, Rigel, Ruloffs, Rust, Ulbrich.
