The musician José Lidón, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Béjar on the second June 1748, the same year of the composers Albertini, Barrière, Cogan, Neefe, Paluselli, Rheineck, Schacht, Schuster, Seydelmann, Shield, Stadler. Died in Madrid on the 11th February 1827
