Henri was born in Rheims on the 31th March 1874, the same year of the composers Bittner, Brandts Buys, Castaldi, Ettinger, Eysler, Gatty, Göhler, Hahn, Hart, Holst, Landré, Nedbal, Neglia, Neumann, Onofri, Parelli, Pierné, Schmid, Schmidt, Schoenberg, Sánchez de Fuentes. He died in Lichtenberg (Baviera) on the third October 1934
