The musician Michel-Julien Mathieu (Lépidor), author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Fontainebleau on the 8th October 1740, the same year of the composers Aranaz y Vides, Arne, Arnold, Baumgarten, Bernardini, Carter, Celoniati, Chartrain, Fago, Gatti, Granier, Lasceux, Paisiello, Rosales, Schwanenberger.
