Jean-Baptiste Matho (Matant) was born in Bretagne in 1660, the same year of the composers Ballaroti, Baseggio, Bernardi, Campra, Durón, Kuhnau, Kusser, Monari, Purcell, Scarlatti. Died in Versailles on the 16th March 1746
