The composer Luigi (Lodovico) Piccinni, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Roma in 1764, the same year of the composers Campbell, Eler, Fabrizi, Federici, Gerl, Grosheim, Kalcher, Lebrun, Mount-Edgcumbe, Parenti, Plantade, Rutini. Died in Passy (Parigi) on the 31th July 1827
