The musician Bernardo Calvo Puig, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Vich on the 22nd February 1819, the same year of the composers Abt, Biaggi, Campana, De Giosa, Deffés, Glover, Gouvy, Henrion, Hopp, Liebe, Mazzolani, Miladowski, Moniuszko, Oberthür, Offenbach, Suppé.
