The musician Frederik Rung, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Copenaghen on the 14th June 1854, the same year of the composers Catalani, Chadwick, Curti, Diet, Giménez (Jiménez) (y Bellido), Heidingsfeld, Humperdinck, Janácek, La Tombelle, Lemaire, Lishin, Massa, Moszkowski, Perger, Smareglia, Sousa, Tinel.
