The composer Ahti Sonninen was born in Kuopio on the 11th July 1914, the same year of the composers Anderberg, Cazden, Devcic, Dumitrescu, Effinger, Gross, Johansson, Kapr, Kleinsinger, Kubelik, Kubik, Malipiero, Masanetz, Mellers, Márkos, Ohana, Pallandios, Ryterband, Sulek, Tulikov. He died in Helsinki on the 27th August 1984
