Maximilian (Raoul Walter) Steiner, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Vienna on the 10th May 1888, the same year of the composers Alexandrov, Beyer, Butting, Clapp, Coppola, Crews, Delvincourt, Durey, Milligan, Odak, Rasbach, Shaposhnikov, Sklavos. Died in Los Angeles on the 28th December 1971
