Hendrik Waelput(1845-1885)
The composer Hendrik (Henri, Henry) Waelput, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Ghent on the 26th October 1845, the same year of the composers Auteri Manzocchi, Bartlett, Bungert, Dreszer, Fauré, Galli, Gericke, Koschat, Machado.
