Meliton Balanchivadze(1862-1937)
The composer Meliton (Antonovich) Balanchivadze, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Banodzha on the 24th December 1862, the same year of the composers Behm, Berutti, Damrosch, Debussy, Delius, Emmanuel, Ganne, Greef, Harriss, Jones, Klose, Koch, Kovarovic, Lavrangas, Leborne, Marshall-Hall, Maurice, O'Dwyer, Pizzi, Reiter, Vanzo.
