Josef Reiter, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Braunau on the 19th Jenuary 1862, the same year of the composers Balanchivadze, Behm, Berutti, Damrosch, Debussy, Delius, Emmanuel, Ganne, Greef, Harriss, Jones, Klose, Koch, Kovarovic, Lavrangas, Leborne, Marshall-Hall, Maurice, O'Dwyer, Pizzi, Vanzo. He died in Bad Reichenhall on the second June 1939
