Andreas Peter Berggreen, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Copenaghen on the second March 1801, the same year of the composers Antoni, Bellini, Bree, Concone, Ellerton, Hewitt, Janssens, Kalliwoda, La Fage, Lindblad, Lortzing, Skroup. Died in Copenaghen on the 8th November 1880
