The musician Johannes Bernardus van (Jean Bernard) Bree, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Amsterdam on the 29th Jenuary 1801, the same year of the composers Antoni, Bellini, Berggreen, Concone, Ellerton, Hewitt, Janssens, Kalliwoda, La Fage, Lindblad, Lortzing, Skroup.
