William Berwald(1864-1948)The composer William (Wilhelm) Berwald, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Schwerin on the 26th December 1864, the same year of the composers Albert, Azkué, Bachelet, Beer-Walbrunn, Borgström, Browne, Castro Herrera, Goepp, Grechaninov, Körling, Lauber, Leoni, Nepomuceno, Othegraven, Procházka, Ropartz, Rottenberg, Strauss.
