Hjalmar Borgström was born in Christiania on the 23th March 1864, the same year of the composers Albert, Azkué, Bachelet, Beer-Walbrunn, Berwald, Browne, Castro Herrera, Goepp, Grechaninov, Körling, Lauber, Leoni, Nepomuceno, Othegraven, Procházka, Ropartz, Rottenberg, Strauss. He died in Oslo on the 5th July 1925
